So, what is working now?

No kidding.  What is working now?  Is it you and I, our computers, the a/c, the plumbing, marketing moving us in their desired paths?  What functions, influences, alters behaviour and causes not just us but large segments of us to move or think about leaning this way or acting another way?  Just curious, yet, I have enough to do to enjoy an occasional break with some guys who enjoy story telling, a good cigar and the pleasure of each other's company.
