Are We Thankful

Are We Thankful, when things simply work? or Do we simply take them for grated?  Just curious.  Seems as time teaches we see more things which do not work all that well, while new and improving technology, hops and bogs, and sometimes fascinates, and at other times takes its sweet time coming to life.  Can provide smiles or sighs or both.
