Yes it is cold and it did snow in Dallas, Texas, but we are easing back into the world, looking forward to getting over what ails us, and having our pool equipment repaired. What a blessing Eddy Fuentes has been to this family.

Nothing Like a cold snap
To knock off accuracy and make shells not function properly or was it my bifocals? Did not seem to bother my son J.J. all that much.

Wow, what a day
Power shuts off at home? How did that happen? God only Knows. Office, calls, skeet shooting in freezing cold with high winds, won the worst shot, nothing like old age and bifocals to make us have a great big John Checki Laugh, seeing a 25 year client PUTC, picking up the check, getting it off to the provider, and having a fine meal at home, negotiating some special dispensation for my wife who does what she does daily, then on to the next stop. Oh? and TCU is in the Final Four College Football Playoffs?
Happy Wednesday, Y'all.
Trees are turning pretty Fall colors in Texas, the temperature dipped below freezing, great day for a roaring fire and a lovely afternoon with one we love, wouldn't you agree?

Veterans Day, Thank You for Our Service.
Yes, some of us, learned how to shine boots, march in formation, shoot a weapon, take orders, peel potatoes, and look forward to getting a leave. Lovely experience for me in Fort Polk, Louisiana. Wow did I learn a lot. No, not the lessons most people learned, sorry, that's a totally different story and if I live long enough, I might get around to telling it. In The Mean Time, Thank You for Volunteering, and/or reporting, training, reporting, doing the duty, and coming back alive. Go Frogs and Aviators.
