2013 How's that working for us?

Has it been fun? Is the world a better place since we entered the scene? Hope so.  If not we have a couple hours left to add to the experience. Go for it.

What are our plans?

No kidding, we are finishing up 2013 and about to begin the adventure known as 2014. How do we want that to go, and are we willing to take the action to get 2014 to a successful beginning, middle and ending? I sure hope so.

Yes, then there is taking my mom shopping, almost as much fun as taking my grandchildren shopping. Just a Joy to see the wonder in her eyes, and the energy in her voice when she sees something she is willing and able to stand up to grab, and grab is the word.  That's okay when you were born in 1922 I think.  If not she is not asking our permission.

How very lovely, but what does that really mean? Did it help,hurt,nurture,  encourage? Who knows it is about the work itself. Sure, it would be grand after all the years of writing to have an audience, yet what would that have changed? God only knows.

Went to the Crest Cadillac CTS product launch this week, met some fun folks, clowned around ate food produced by Urban Crust and had a rollicking good time. Still, I like my ES350 Lexus just fine.

Stuggling with the electronics, and that's okay, with me.

It is great when electronics work and even better when it does not.

Okay, What Are You Plans For Today, and.....

This amazing tower almost did not get built and was scheduled to be torn down right after the World's Fair in Paris, or was it the Olympics? Yet, it is the very symbol that let's us know where we are, Paris city of lights. What are our plans for today and will we actually do what we planned to do? Hope so.

Seeds fall to the ground, most of them feed the bugs and/or bugs, others hold there ground and grow to a mighty oak tree. Once again, even the mightiest oak, was simply a little nut that held its ground. (Had a coffee mug which I bought in an Italian bake shop (pastry shop) in Garfield, NJ.) Sorry it broke and is long gone, but the nuts and oaks do our dance daily.

How could that be? Batteries, candles, bread bought in advance, sharp saw to cut fallen branches, calls made and received, warm goose down comforters and the Love of God.

A consideration for current and future thinking.  What is the long term Vision? Again, take a moment to picture the Long Term Vision.  Got it? Mine:  Continued Service to Clients, with support of technician to do the input and processing, portfolio designer to come up with investment models, and visionary who has he overall vision of the direction of the firm, the marketer who goes out and finds new clients, and the manager who keeps all the parts properly aligned.  MAKE SENSE? Certainly hope so.

Some parts are better than others. Sure Spring has new sprouts and Fall has leaves and holidays, and winter, with luck a roaring fire and friends. Summer in Texas is just so darned hot many level for higher cooler ground. Not to worry, there is always an adventure around the bend.

What Could Be More Important?

Than matching countertop to tile? Golly, let me count the ways. Nice to have things match yet, is that the most important thing I could be doing today? Think, probably not. Make a call, write a note, do a good deed or two. Clean it up or call someone who can and has the tools, skill and time to do the job well. So it goes. Turn off the lights, lock the doors, turn on the alarm and say a prayer of thanks for being able to do it.

Optical Illusion, movement or is it action?

Looks good works up a sweat but is it movement or action. Does it move us in the direction of our vision or simply pass the time? Just curious, and so should we be mindful of who we are and what we are doing with our thoughts, time, resources and action. Have fun with it and consider it all Joy.

Just a lot more to the plumbing and maintenance of a body of water, no kidding, but always an opportunity to analyze and contemplate. A good laugh could be had at any price.

Smile Because It Happened

Don't regret who is not here or what did not happen, smile because it happened, doesn't matter what it is, sing for Joy, and cheer up the lonely, and bring life to the neighborhood. Sing along, Christmas will explode and so will we. It was the best.
