How Many Times?

It really doesn't matter, how many times or how repetitive the task or the passcode or the procedure or the line of communication might be, if we have a vision, a plan, work the plan, throw off discouragement, and persist as we are coached and learning and listening along the way, it works or it does not.  In all events it provides valuable experience, stories to tell lessons to learn and teach. Have fun with it.

Self Published? Self Taught?

Some technology is so amazing it is almost too automatic and takes over for us. Yet, we can visit our grandchildren from the comfort of our homes and have a good laugh as well. Self publishing is becoming all the rage, anywhere from professionally organized to printing ourselves. What route are you and yours taking?

Who knows? Perhaps we should just say, my bad.  Would you please forgive me, I was wrong? or let it and them go.  Not to worry.

Could be, perhaps I'll even edit out my finger from this shot later today.  Let's not only have fun but do good today.

What is the point of your life?

Yes, travel to Venice was a trip in every sense of the word. Lots of walking about and discovering art, opera, food, people, wine, wine opener, paths to take, water buses to catch, churches, grand experience, and yet.  What did it mean and what effect if any did it have? Time will time, stories will grow, and people will change or not. But what is the point of your life? Take the time if you seek meaning to answer that question.

Well, we entertain, amuse, mentor, listen learn and laugh and laugh and laugh, trying to consider it all Joy, while praying without ceasing.  And You? What keeps you going day after lovely day?

Are you popular and productive?

Great question, what is the answer? The market will tell us over our life time.  How and pray it works for all of us.  Get productive and passionate about your work, happily the Good Lord, blessed me with a purpose and since my grandparents were from Italy, I was born with passion.

Are we being silly today?

Am I kidding? No, we see behavior which is just laugh out loud funny if it were not so foolish.  How did that happen?  Could be just getting by one time too many and a pattern was set up mistakeningly thinking that was okay and just how it was supposed to be.  Not exactly. Let's take responsibility and the proper actions to not just be prepared but to be of service, and helpful.

Golly, every day in every way find something to be grateful for.  No, make that at least two gratefuls and one thankful. Amused and Amazed, that can be quick or last a life time.  In is in the attitude of gratitude.

Relavent? Helpful? If not why bother?  Perhaps entertainment, or education or illucidation, or technical or simply filling time and space to fill time and space rather than have a buffer?

Golly, so many adventures and new people involved.  But was it a good week or were we weak?  Only we know for sure.  Still it is only Friday and time to get cracking in the right direction.

Best Kept Secret? ICD? Italian Club of Dallas

Nothing like a Texas sunrise, lovely, just lovely. Met Suzi Checki at the Italian Club in 2001, married her that same year, and as she loves to say, "We're still together."  There have been good and bad times, arguements worth forgetting, and trips along the way, thanks for hte adventures, doll.

I need your help

Yes, that is a pretty fountain in Rome, Italy. Just lovely, remember sitting on the edge of that fountain and watching traffic go round that circle.  Construction workers blocked off part of the street as they were repairing the pavement. Vespa's piloted by gals who wore spike heels shot by along with tour buses which looked clean and new. Me? I was relaxing while Suzi was trying to get well for her birthday. We needed a little help and a local doctor along with a couple of RX's did just that.  Praego.

Look What Just Happened

Breezes are blowing, plants are growing and it is raining in Texas in July.  Who would ever have imagined that?

Writing Out Our Goals, Reviewing Them Daily? Reminding ourselves why we have these goals and the benefits for our families?

I think I am sideways how embarrassing unless I did it on purpose just to broaden perspective. Yet, there is nothing like writing down our goals, especially if they are powered by vision, and passionate purpose, then enlisting an accountability partner or two to help us focus on our path, and deadlines, not to mention the benefits of having a plan, and working that plan.  Thanks for the perspective.

Is it content or content?

Excuse me?  Are we concerned about the content and popularity (number of views) or are we content to be doing the work? With luck, it is being content and not confusing one with the other.  If the views increase let's make sure we are doing some good with purpose along the way.

Why? Well, every once in a while taking a break to rest relax and rejoice is a great way to re-energize and get back at it later.

Are We Pursing? or Perishing?

Pursue or Perish? Makes perfectly good sense.  Whether it is watching a guy train eat right and get in better shape or studying and prospecting to learn a new profession and support his family, pursuing and doing beats sitting and spitting every time. Give it a try, why don't you?

Mix in a little hail ot make it more interesting. So, how do we respond?  With luck we can simply enjoy storm and the free natural fertilizer.

We all have our daze?

How does that happen? It could be chemical, emotional, professional, physical, or all of the above. We can listen and learn, apply it to our future and improve or not.

Much too pretty a flower to ignore, wouldn't you agree? Same can be said about this very moment, much too precise to ignore.  Have fun with it.

Another day to enjoy and be productive and imaginative?

Oh no I'm out of focus? No, not me the picture, with a little work editing, planning Photoshop, or instant fix in another program this could be improved. Much like today, we have refocus on our vision, review and implement our plan, take a step or two in the right direction and build momentum, experience, expertise and a track record worth having or not.  What will it be?

Posting a silly but effective message?

It is just a little cloudy and isn't it always until we have prayed, put in the study time and effort, been coached, mentored, took the class, put words on paper, planned ,implemented the plan then clarity with experience and editing.  It is all good and could be even better.

Personally I enjoy being of service and I appreciate others who have that same point of view. Goes back to givers and takers. There are those who act as if the world was put in place just to serve them, and quickly get on with it, and the rest of us who enjoy being helpful and useful. We all have our parts to play. Focusing?

Who would see such a statue? Right in downtown Plano, just at the entrance of the DART rail station.  Lovely, so very substantial and focused. Just love it, will have to take a new turn now and again.

Does That Hurt?

Just to look at it and give thanks for the lady who planted that in the yard, God only knows when? Yet, how very grand the blooming hibiscus is in person, the picture is not half bad either. Been reading prayers of thanks, watching documentaries on the Congo, and giving thanks in our home for location, God's love, grace, and salvation, love, family opportunity and the simple joys of living.

Prissy

Sure I would love to be up early and get out prior to the sunrise, but my darling wife needs her sleep and likes to walk together when ever she is ready, wouldn't we all like life to be on our schedule, too? Perhaps not, such thoughts are self serving and self centered, yet at times fun.

Two for one surprise

Lovely surprise: hibiscus, flower. Just flat lovely and a total surprise.  Right up there with running into Jill and Rosmary Rombley, along with the Luigi Mungioli family at Maggiano's Northpark now the number one Maggiano's in all the chain of 44 Maggiano's restaurants.

Whoops, I forgot how that worked

Simply looking up and enjoying the sky, what a treat. Lots of lovely experiences available if we simply open our eyes and notice them.  Wouldn't you agree?  So, what is keeping us from the sheer Joy of being alive?  Expectations, baggage, negative experiences or thoughts.  Golly we get to choose our experiences and thoughts last time I looked.  Technology?  Well that is an adventure all by itself.  Think I will take lessons and hire it out as well.

Humble yourself?

Life is too short and so am I to be proud. So, as I serve suggest it be done with Joy.

That did not work well.

Why not?  Technology is amazing when it works and sadly ineffective when it doesn't.  Gives us a chance to dance and be guys and dolls again.

Getting Started?

Perhaps not the perfect picture of a round as it could be omelet, yet my first picture of food on this Samsung Galaxy II Note, and if that is not a pretty image, I just don't know what is what.  Getting started on a journey, adventure, career, relationship seems more difficult to me than maintain or continuing. The start is all the momentum going against it starting with our history, understanding, experience expectations, and recent memory.  Yet, nothing quite as exciting as a brand new experience. For example, froth Silk (Vanilla flavored Soybean milk) put it in a cup, put the cup along with some coffee in a microwave oven, fire up the microwave oven for thirty seconds, and the Silk froths to a frenzy (it grows right out of the cup.) Amazing to me and not much of a mess to clean.  How lucky to be easily amused and able to come up with water to clean, and an attitude to learn from the simplest experience. Much like getting started and enjoying it for what it is, a new exciting beginning.

Wish I had gotten the zoom to zoom a bit more.  Lovely flowers, lawn, yard and shrubs, yard of the month.  Stiff competition? What will be our focus today?  Just curious.
