Not That Again

Golly, leave home for a couple of days, and there's dishwashing soap on the kitchen floor, a toilet stopped up, plumber scheduled to get here some time between 8 AM and God knows when he will actually appear. Not to mention the need to recover from getting home at 2:30AM thanks to a delayed flight out of LA.  It all works, some things better than others.

Whether it is our time, which, my Lord is the most precious asset we have.  The one thing we cannot replace.  No kidding. Enjoy this very moment, and smile. You are alive and serving a purpose.

Why Do We Do This?

First if we have a Vision, we know what our Purpose is, and we automatically do it, because it is who and what we are or atleast what we were born to do.

Can You Afford This?

 

Really?  Time, energy, resources, family, friends, God? Is what we are doing in line with who and what we are and what we are destined to be? or Are we drifting through time seeking direction or the end of each day?

It Is What It Is

Put in the time and effort (Vision, Plan, consult with experts, Work the Plan, modify along the way), and wham, everyone (not really) is surprised some things worked out well, some better, or not. That's the riddle, kids, we press on and might as well enjoy the Journey.  How does that sound to you?

I Love

To Paint and Plant.  God only knows why.  Just nothing quite as refreshing to scrape away the chips, smooth down the surface, clean away the wear and tear, prime and seal it and cover the surface with refreshing clean even color.  Then there is planting. What a joy to cultivate, weed, feed and grow roses, which are so very grand and gorgeous.  Herbs for cooking fresh from the garden.  Lovely just Lovely. What do y'all love to do?  Let's hear from you and enjoy your Joy.

And why the heck not?  If we love what we do and we are doing good work? who would want to stop it. So, discover your purpose and press on and on.

Of course the writer hopes it is. Toward what end? Improve the writer the audience and the future? Yes, we write for purpose and passion. To see and be seen, to lead? Influence is more like it. Influence to what?  Self discovery has been popular most of my life.  Yet, it seems those who found their True Purpose enjoy this life on all levels and at all times.

Get Started, Take That First Step

Why?  Well if we have one or two things to do and hit the ground running, we move right on through one and two, and suddenly we are in momentum.  If we choose the steps and direction, we have action, with purpose and passion.  If we drift, well, hopefully we are helping someone we love and respect accomplish their goals, if not, golly we might have just wasted the gift of life and breath.   Choice is always ours.  Have fun with it.

No Longer In Storage

No Longer in storage, not me, not my mighty Nordic Track.  Yes, after 18 long years in storage, the Nordic Track is back up and working.  It squeaked for about five minutes then settled right in to work. Oddly the instrument panel functioned, 30 minutes 2 miles.  Hardest part?  Folding it back up correctly.  Y'all have fun be well, active, add value, and above all LOVE.

OMG Oh My God

Wonder how long it will be before a child asks what OMG means then asks what does "Oh My God" mean, and Who is God?  Will our lives teach the answers to these questions?  Hope and pray we do>

Off On One Days

What does that mean?  Well, taking a break is just as important as taking action, action not to be confused with movement or busy work. Why take a break?  Rest and Relaxation can add perspective and broaden our points of view.  Wouldn't that be a fun way to look at life?  I sure hope so!
